Before operating the unit, please read this manual thoroughly and retain it for
future reference.
In addition, be sure to read the safety precautions in the operation manuals
of the SR-R1 Portable Memory Recorder and the HDW-F900R, or HDW-650 HD
Camcorder.
Overview
The SRK-R302 Docking Plate is an adapter used to mount the SR-R1 Portable
Memory Recorder to the HDW-F900R, or HDW-650 HD Camcorder.
Mounting the Unit
Attach the V-shoe adapter and the lock base (HDW) to the SR-R1, and mount the
SR-R1 onto the rear of the HDW-F900R, or HDW-650.
The procedure for the HDW-F900R is described here as an example.
Preparation
The V-shoe adapter and the lock base (HDW) come packaged in an assembled
state.
Be sure to remove the eight screws (M3x8) beforehand.

Note
Keep the eight removed screws in a safe place, as they will be used to mount the
unit.

Mount the control panel onto the SR-R1.
For details on mounting, refer to the operation manual for the SR-R1.

Remove the four rubber feet on the bottom of the SR-R1.
Note
Do not discard the removed rubber feet and screws (M3×8) as they will be
used again.

Use four of the removed screws (M3x8) to secure the V-shoe adapter to the
bottom of the SR-R1.

Use four of the removed screws (M3×8) to secure the lock base (HDW) to the
SR-R1.

Slide the V-shoe adapter onto the battery mount on the camcorder to mount
the SR-R1, and secure the holding screws.

Connect the HD SDI output on the camcorder to HD SDI IN connector A on
the SR-R1.

To use the battery power supply, attach a DC distribution adapter (available
soon) to the rear of the SR-R1, and connect the cable to the DC IN connectors
on the SR-R1 and the camcorder.
