Troubleshooting
If a problem occurs, first check the following troubleshooting guide and follow
instructions to solve the problem. If the problem persists, switch off the digital
image processor and call your Sony dealer.
Symptom
Possible causes and remedies
• The power switch of the digital image processor is pushed
too soon after the AC plug is inserted into the wall outlet.
→
Wait 10 seconds and set the power switch to ON again.
• The POWER switch was not pushed and held long enough.
→
Press and hold the POWER switch down about two
seconds until the POWER lamp lights.
• The power has been switched on again too soon after it was
switched off.
→
Wait 30 seconds, then switch on power again.
• Connections may not be correct.
→
Make sure connections are correct.
Power does not switch on
when you press and hold
the POWER switch.
Data is not sent to the
printer.
The SCSI address is not correctly set.
→
0 or 7 is used. Set SCSI address to one of 1 to 6.
Unit operation is unstable.
The total cable length is too long.
