Disconnecting a mouse or keyboard
You can disconnect a USB or PS/2
®
mouse or keyboard when the computer is on or off. Disconnecting the mouse or
keyboard when the computer is in a power saving mode (Standby or Hibernate) may cause the computer to malfunction.
To disconnect the mouse or keyboard
Unplug the USB cable from the USB port
on the computer.
Unplug the PS/2 cable from the Mouse/Keyboard (PS/2) port

on the port replicator.
