Disconnecting the docking station
Disconnecting the docking station when the docking station indicator is on, the
computer is in a power saving mode (Standby or Hibernate), or the battery power
is low may result in data loss or a computer malfunction. You can disconnect the
docking station when the computer is on or off. To disconnect the docking station
when the computer is on, use the Start menu or UNDOCK switch.
To disconnect the docking station when the computer is off

Disconnect all peripheral (attached) devices from the computer and the
docking station.

Remove all objects placed on top of the computer.

Pull the two release levers on the rear corners of the docking station to
release the computer from the docking station.
