Using the Linked Picture Orbiting Function
What is linked picture orbiting function?
The picture orbiting function prevents CRT burn by shifting the picture
projected on the screen automatically.
If you connect the LINK jacks of each projector when multiple projectors
are used, the linked picture orbiting function can shift the pictures of all
the projectors regularly.
There are two picture orbiting functions: PIC ORBITING for shifting the
picture on the screen and SCAN LINE SHIFT for shifting the scanning
lines vertically.
Activating the picture orbiting function

Set the projector to the service mode.
For details, see “Service mode” on page 53.

Display the PIC ORBITING menu.

Select PIC ORBITING or SCAN LINE SHIFT as necessary, by
pressing the
v
and
V
keys, then press the ENTER key.

Press the

key to select ON, then press the ENTER key.
The picture orbiting function is now activated.
