Using the Signage Web Manager
The VSP-BZ10 requires a separate IP address
for the Signage Web Manager and the content
playout function. For details, see “Setting IP
Address 1 (Controller) for the Signage Web
Manager.”
Password
The administrator name and password
information can be set here. The default
administrator name is set to “root.” Once a
user name and password are set, the
“Network Password” screen appears
whenever the Signage Web Manager is
called up. To ensure security on the network,
we recommend setting a unique user name
and password.
Mail Report
When the “Email Address” field is set and
the check boxes that follow are selected, a
status report is sent by email (status
notification) whenever an error or other such
event occurs.
Address
Enter the target e-mail address here. Up to
four addresses can be specified, for
simultaneous sending of an error report.
Mail Account
Mail Address:
Enter the allocated e-mail address here.
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):
Enter the outgoing mail server address
here.
The default port number for the SMTP
server is 25.
If the default port number of the SMTP
server you are using is not 25, enter the
address as follows.
<mail server address>:<port number>
Example: 192.168.0.15:4649
