Using the Signage Web Manager
If an “index.html” file is stored in the folder,
other files and folders contained in the folder
are not displayed. Folders with names that end
in number signs (#) or tildes (~) are not
displayed.
Download To (SD Memory Card)
Specifies the save location on the SDHC
Memory Card inserted in the memory card
slot on the player.
You can either enter the location in the text
box or click the “Browse” button and select
the file or folder location on the screen that
appears. If a folder containing more than
1,000 files is specified with the “Browse”
button, only 1,000 files will be displayed in
the list, and an error code will appear at the
bottom right.
Always include a slash (/) at the end of a
folder location specification.
Names that are identical to file names that
exist in the folder cannot be used for the
folder name.
Store
Starts content download.
As the “Store” button is disabled during
content playout, stop playout before
performing this operation.
Scheduled Download
This function lets you periodically download
content files from a Web/HTTP server to an
SDHC Memory Card inserted in the player.
You can select the day of the week, the time,
and the interval for downloads.
Content playout will be stopped during
scheduled downloads.
Check to clear the local folder before
download
When you select this check box, all files in
the folder on the SDHC Memory Card
(specified in “Download To (SD Memory
Card)”) are deleted before downloading
starts from the Web/HTTP server. When this
check box is not selected, any files on the
SDHC Memory Card with the same name as
content downloaded from the Web/HTTP
server will be overwritten.
• Before setting the “Scheduled Download”
function, make sure to configure the time
setting on the Setup screen.
• Do not turn off the power to the player while
a file is in the process of being downloaded.
Doing so may prevent the file from
downloading properly.
• When there is no space left on the SDHC
Memory Card, an error will occur in the
Scheduled Download function, and
automatic downloading of new content will
stop. For more on how to display errors, see
“Display Message” in the “Player screen”
section and “Mail Report” in the “Setup
screen” section.
