Using the Signage Web Manager
• Scheduled Local Playout
This method is used when using external
software to operate the player.
Start Screen
Lets you select a landscape or portrait
orientation for the player startup screen
display.
Display Message
Display (Info only)
Status information appears on the display
when a USB flash drive is connected.
Off
Status information does not appear on the
display.
USB Port Activate
Lets you set whether or not the player
recognizes a USB flash drive when one is
plugged into the player.
Note that when this option is set to Off, no
USB flash drives will be recognized.
Proxy Server
Lets you set a proxy server for the player to
access.
Address
Enter the proxy server address as eight
digits or as an address beginning with “http.”
Port
Enter the port number of the proxy server.
User
Enter the user name that allows access to
the proxy server.
Password
Enter the password required for
authorization by the proxy server, if
necessary.
Connect
Click this button to communicate with the
proxy server.
A dialog box appears while connecting
which allows you to check the connection
status.
Player Access
This is intended for use by service
representatives.
NTP Server
Lets you set an NTP server for the player to
access.
Be sure to restart the player after changing
these settings.
Address
Enter the NTP server address as eight
digits or as an address beginning with
“http.”
Interval
Enter the interval, in minutes, at which to
perform time synchronization with the
NTP server.
Time Zone
Lets you set the time zone for the player.
Use the drop-down box to select the time
zone of the region where the player is
installed.
Daylight Saving Time
Lets you select whether to use Daylight
Saving Time (On), or not (Off).
Daylight Saving Time will only be applied
to the player’s clock setting.
Connect
Click this button to start communication
with the NTP server. A dialog box appears
while connecting which allows you to
check the connection status.
Playout Mode
Lets you select the output mode.
You can select from HDMI Auto, HD15
1080p60, HD15 1080p50, HD15 720p60, or
HD15 720p50.
