Listening to FM Radio
To stop the FM radio and return to the audio player
Press and hold the /HOME button until the HOME menu appears, and then
select (All Songs) or (Sports Shuffle) from the menu screen and press the
button to play back.
To turn off the volume of the FM radio briefly
By pressing the
button, FM radio sound is not output. The FM radio
enters Sleep status after a few seconds and the display goes off. By pressing the
button again, FM radio sound is output again.
Notes
When you press the
(
) button while the player is in the Sleep status, the
previous (or next) preset number or frequency is selected. At that time, the sound is not
output, regardless of the VOL +/- button.
The display does not change to the one you set in “Display Mode” (
page 32) during
FM reception.
2 Presetting broadcast stations automatically
(FM Auto Preset)
You can preset receivable broadcast stations (up to 30 stations) in your area
automatically by selecting “FM Auto Preset.” When you use the FM radio for
the first time, or when you move to a new area, we recommend to preset
receivable broadcast stations by selecting “FM Auto Preset.”

The “FM Auto Preset” operation will delete already preset broadcast stations.

screen until the HOME menu appears.
