Setting the Playback Range
You can set the playback range of songs.

Press and hold the BACK/HOME button until the Home menu
appears.

The list of “Music Settings” options appears.

button to select “Playback Range,” and then

button to confirm.
The player offers 2 types of playback range.
“All Range”: Plays back all the songs in the “Music Library.” When you
want to play back albums in the “Music Library” in the song list order,
select this.
“Selected Range”: appears on the display, and plays back songs only in
the lists from which the playback starts (album list, artist list, etc.).
(Default setting)
Hint
You can select the playback range of songs from the “Now Playing” screen. Press the
OPTION/PWR OFF button, and then select “Playback Range” from the option menu.
Notes
When “Time Machine Shuffle” play starts, the playback range is automatically set to
“Selected Range.”
When playing back Rhapsody Channels, you cannot set the playback range.
