8. Check that this unit restarts and the logo of “SONY” is displayed

Checking procedure if Apple CarPlay or Android Auto
cannot be prepared
If the application of Apple CarPlay or Android Auto cannot be pre-
pared, perform the following method.
Preparation:
• Mass Storage Class type USB memory where is storing video
and audio that is saved by MPEG-4 format
• Speaker for checking the audio output

Checking procedure:
1. Refer to “Connection”, and connect the USB memory to USB
port of main unit.
2. Press the [HOME] button on the main unit, and touch the [USB]
on the touch panel.
