XPT-38 Board (XVS-8000)
The XPT-38 board has 290 x 290 serial matrix, out process, and multiviewer functions to switch signals and perform
output processing.
The XPT-38 board consists of the following blocks.
• Serial crosspoint circuit
• Color background circuit
• Multiviewer circuit
• Compare circuit
Serial crosspoint circuit
IN1 to IN160 (XVS-8000) input signals and the internal reentry signal are input to the serial crosspoint circuit on the
XPT-38 board, and are then sent to the M/E block, output processor block, frame memory block, DME block, and format
convertor block through the matrix.
Color background circuit
A color BKGD generator circuit for 4 channels (1 channel for 4K) is provided to output the generated Color BKGD
signal to the serial cross point circuit.
Multiviewer circuit
This circuit converts the SDI signal sent from the serial crosspoint circuit to a multiviewer output signal.
The multiviewer circuit can display the SDI signal selected arbitrarily in the cross point circuit on a screen split into
4/10/13/16.
XVS-8000 contains two multiviewer circuits.
Compare circuit
The compare circuit can simultaneously compare up to 8 pairs (16 signals) of HD and 3GSDI signals with the SDI
signals supplied from the serial cross point circuit.
