Notes on USB cable usage and battery charging
•
To charge your device, Sony strongly recommends that you use only Sony branded
original batteries, a power supply and the USB cable supplied with your device. The
use of third-party products may decrease the performance of your device and/or
pose a risk to your health or safety
Actual charging times may vary. When tested in laboratory conditions, the approximate
charging time for an empty battery is around 3 hours when utilizing the charger recommended
by Sony for your device. Interrupted charging does not damage the battery. Performance
depends on temperature, signal strength, usage patterns, features selected and voice or data
transmissions. The standby time for this battery is up to
498
hours in GSM network; up to
454
hours in UMTS network (the test results are based on GSMA battery life test technology).
Use only Sony branded original batteries intended for use with your mobile phone. If you use
other batteries you may not be able to charge your phone.
