Volume 

 

• Set the desired volume by turning the volume control (23) on the device. 

Connecting an external device 

 

• Using the 

AUX IN 

socket (20), an external music player (e.g. MP3 player) can be connected to this device and   

  music can be played over the loudspeakers.  
• 

Attention: 

Before connecting your external playback device, please also read the operating instructions for     

  information regarding safety instructions and usage with other devices.  
• Turn off the playback device and the external playback device.  
• Connect the external playback device using a stereo cable (Ø3.5 mm). The cable is not included in the scope  
   of delivery.  
• Connect the stereo cable with the 

AUX IN 

socket (20) and put the other end into the headphone jack or the  

  LINE-OUT jack of the playback device. If the external device has a smaller or larger socket, then use a  
  corresponding adaptor (not included in the scope of delivery).  
• First turn on the external device and set the volume to zero. Then turn this device on and set the volume to  
  zero as well.  
• Slide the

• Now you can regulate the volume of both devices. If the playback device is connected via the LINE-OUT jack  
  on the external device, then regulate the volume on the playback device.  
• However, playback is controlled using the external device.  

• Please note that if you only turn off this device, the external playback device will continue playing

 

Connecting headphones 

 

• This device is equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone jack (21) to which you can connect most commercially 

available headphones or earphones (not included).  

• If headphones or earphones are connected to the headphone jack, the built-in speakers will be deactivated   
automatically.
