Display lighting  

• You can set the brightness of the display panel by means of the 

DIMMER 

switch (19) on the back of the 

device.  

• The panel is brightly lit, when the switch is in the 

BRIGHT 

position. In the 

DIM 

position, the display panel will 

fade.  

 

Antennas 

 

• For FM reception, this device is equipped with a FM wire antenna (26). Unwind the FM wire antenna and lay it 

out.  

Operating the radio 

 

• Slide the 

FUNCTION 

switch (22) on the device to 

AM 

or 

FM

. If the function switch is in the 

AM 

position, the 

device is operating in the AM radio range. If the function switch is in the 

FM 

position, the device is operating in 

the FM radio range.  
• Select the desired radio station by means of the 

TUNING 

control (27).  

• The LED indicator 

FMST. 

(C) will come on, if you are receiving a FM stereo station. Only FM stations are 

broadcast in stereo. • A ferrite antenna has been built into this device for the AM reception. Orientate the device 
in such a way that you will receive the stations with the best possible sound quality.  

Setting the time 

 

• After you have connected the power plug (25) to a power outlet, the time 12:00 will blink in the display (7).  
• Hold the 

CLOCK/ADJ. 

button (18) down for 2 seconds. Either 24 H or 12 H will be shown in the display. To 

change the time configuration, hold the 

CLOCK/ADJ. 

button (18) down again for 2 seconds. If you choose the 

24-hour time format, the time of 0.00 will blink in the display panel. For the 12-hour time format, the time 12:00 
will blink in the display.  
• Press the 

/MINUTE 

button (12) to set the minutes and the 

/HOUR 

button (11) to set the hours. Confirm by 

pressing the 

CLOCK/ADJ. 

button.  

• If you select the 12-hour display, the LED indicator 

PM 

(D) will also be displayed for times after noon.  

• If you would like to reset the time again later, press briefly on the 

CLOCK/ADJ.
