To Set the Alarm
1.
Make sure the radio is turned off
2.
Hold down the Alarm Set Button, and press the Hour or Minute Button simultaneously until the
correct hour and minute is set.
3.
Press the Alarm Set Button to check the set alarm time, and the alarm start time will appear in the
LCD Display.
Alarm Wake to Radio
1.
After the alarm time is set, turn on the radio by using the Volume Control Dial.
2.
Use the Band Selector to select the wave range, and tune the stations by using the Radio Station
Tuner.
3.
Rotate the Volume Control Dial downward until hearing a click to turn off the radio.
4.
Press the Alarm On/Off Button to activate the alarm mode, and the alarm icon
will appear
in the LCD display.
5.
The radio will turn on to the set station automatically when the set alarm time is reached.
When the Alarm Sounds
1.
Press the Alarm On/Off Button to turn off the alarm. The alarm icon
will remain and the
alarm will sound again at the set time every day.
2.
To deactivate the alarm function, press the Alarm On/Off Button again and the alarm icon
will disappear.
Antennas
1.
FM
Pull out the Telescopic Antenna (2) and adjust it’s length and angle for optimum reception.
2.
AM
The sensitive ferrite core antenna inside the unit will provide excellent AM reception in most
areas for optimum reception. Turn the unit in the direction which gives the best results since the
ferrite core antenna is directional.
3.
SW 1-8
Extend the Telescopic Antenna (2) fully in a vertical position.
