• 

Do NOT open the battery compartment too much,  
i.e. more than you can put in the battery. See figures.

• 

Never force the door shut since this may damage the 
protectors.

• 

If the protectors are not to be used for some time, the 
batteries should be removed.

• 

If the battery compartment is hard to close, the battery 
may be positioned wrongly.

• 

Do not use the battery compartment door to remove the 
protectors from the ear to avoid damaging the protectors.
