Chapter 6 System Settings
6.1 Set the language
Press Menu

System
→
User Settings
→
Language to switch the language.
ST1963 supports dynamic switching between Chinese and English.
6.2 Setting the date/time
Press Menu
→
Utility
→
System
→
Date Time to set the date and time.
Note:
Since the system uses a unix timestamp internally, the valid range for the year in the date is 1970-2038. The
setting of the second is not supported on the menu. If it is necessary to be accurate to the second, the command
SYST: TIME <hour>, <minute>, <second> can be used.
6.3 Setting the buzzer and brightness
Press Menu

User Settings to enter into the setup menu to set the sound and brightness.
Beeper and Key Click are independent of each other and do not affect each other.
In order to prevent the screen from being completely black, the minimum brightness is 20. In addition, you can
quickly adjust the brightness by using the shift+ up and down keys.
6.4 Setting the format of the digital display

Number to set the format of the digit display.
In order to support the digital format commonly used in Europe and America, ST1963 can choose the decimal
point and separator type. The decimal point can be set to '.' (Period) or ',' (Comma). The separator can be a space,
',' or '.' (On), or no separator (None).
