Operating Mechanism
1. Lay out all parts and check each one against the bill of materials on the
Operating Mechanism Drawing (Op-Mech).
2. Use the Op-Mech Drawing to install mounting brackets, bearings, bushings, pipe
clevises, manual operating device, Adjustable Arm, and other components -
The Pipe Collar must support the entire weight of the Vertical
Operating Pipe. Do not allow the manual operating housing to bear
any of the Vertical Pipe weight.
