IMPORTANT

Before using the space heater, carefully read all of the instructions and follow them scrupulously. The manufacturer cannot be

held responsible for damage to persons and/or property caused by improper use of the equipment.

This instruction manual is an integral part of the equipment and must therefore be stored carefully and passed on with the unit in

the event of a change of ownership.

1. DESCRIPTION

This manual describes a radiation/convection space heater

intended for use outdoors or in well-ventilated areas.

Warning

Using this heater in closed rooms is DANGEROUS and

therefore PROHIBITED.

The simple installation and quick connection of an LPG tank

allows this heater to be used locally and temporarily in stand-alone
mode. The area to be heated receives a flow of homogeneous and
uniform heat that radiates radially.

Space heaters can be run on propane gas (G31) or on L.P.G.

(butane G30 and propane G31) according to the different gas
categories indicated on Tab. I and shown on the heater
identification plate.

All space heaters are equipped with safety devices that trip in case

of serious malfunctions and switch off the heaters.

• the thermocouple and the thermal gas valve trip to close the gas

flow if the flame is irregular or if it goes out;

• the inclination sensor trips to close the gas flow if the heater is

excessively inclined and can overturn.

Warning

You must always identify the cause of the “block” and
eliminate it before restarting the heater (see:
“TROUBLESHOOTING”)

The section “TROUBLESHOOTING” describes all possible operating

faults and their possible remedies.

2. CONDITIONS OF SUPPLY

The space heater is delivered packed on a cardboard box and can

easily be handled with a manual or automatic fork lift with capacity

exceeding 200 kg.

Warning

The heater is very heavy. NEVER try to lift it by hand: you

could suffer serious physical injury.

It contains:

• 1 space heater.

• 1 instruction and maintenance manual

• 1 instruction booklet with drawing and spare parts list

• 1 gas hose L = 5 meters

• 1 kit gas tank connection kit with:

• pressure regulator 0.4 – 1.5 bar

• safety valve in case of broken gas hose

• connection adapters for tank

3. GENERAL ADVICE

The heater must be installed, set up and used in accordance with

the applicable regulations and laws relating to the use of such
equipment.

Provide at least 2 metres of clearance from surrounding walls,

floor and/or ceiling.

Warning

Do not use the heater on floors made with flammable
materials.

Warning

Use in basements or below ground level is hazardous
because of gas stagnation.

Make sure that:
•  The instructions in this manual are carefully followed;
• The heater is not installed in an area where there is a high risk

of fire or explosions;

• No flammable materials are stored in the vicinity of the heater

(minimum distance: 3 m);

•  There is no overheating of walls, or ceilings made of flammable

materials,

•  All precautions have been taken to prevent fires;
• Ventilation in the area where the heater is located is

guaranteed and sufficient for use of the burner. Air quality
limits in well-ventilated areas must be complied with. These
areas must have an open surface area equal to at least 25% of
the total surface area. The total surface area is calculated as
the sum of all surrounding walled surfaces;

• There are no obstacles or obstructions to normal air intake for

combustion and to radiated heat (sheets or covers on the

heater, or walls or bulky objects near the heater);

•  The heater is placed on a flat and stable surface;

Warning

If the heater is placed on an inclined surface with angle to

horizontal greater than 35°, the inclination sensor will

prevent its operation.

•  The heat flow is not directed toward the gas tank or drum;
•  The heater is regularly monitored during operation and checked

before being started;

• The heater is away from walkways and is surrounded by

barriers to prevent people from accidentally touching its hot
surfaces.

• At the end of each work period, main gas stopcock is closed

and gas hose disengaged and sealed.

Warning

This unit may not be used by persons (including children)

with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capacities or

with limited experience and familiarity unless they are

under supervision or instructed on how to use the unit by

the person responsible for its safety.

4. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Warning

All of the operations described in this section must be

performed by professionally qualified personnel only.
