Installation

Recirculation Mode
(requires optional recirculation kit , available at
www.kitchenhoods.ca
)
For technical or ecological reasons a range hood with an
external extraction isn’t always possible. In this case a
Spagna Vetro hood with recirculation is the best solution
If you do not have acces to outside, you will need to make
the hood re-circulated (see picture).
To do so, you will need to install the charcoal filters on
each side of the motor ( see picture 2).
That way the air will go tru the charcoal filters and will
come back in the room.
Charcoal filters are not washable , they need to be replaced
every 4,5 months.
2. Please note that the air will flow out from the two grids
on the two sides of the chimney cover. You will need to
leave them open.
3. When having a recirculated hood, pick a blower as big
as possible, as the air needs to be pushed trough the char
-
coal filter and the blower needs to be more powerful. Hav
-
ing a good charcoal filter will create a lot of resistance.
Typical recirclation kit is shown below. Includes Air di
-
verter , charcoal filters ( round or rectangular ) , flex duct
and screws.
Extra charcoal filters are available at
