5 INSTALLATION
5.1 WORK CONDITIONS
The machine can only be used under the following work conditions:

Indoors;
- Altitude up to 2000 m;
- Temperature from 0,5 - 59,5 °C;
- Max. relative humidity of 80% for temperatures up to 31°C with linear decrease to 50% at a temperature of 40°C;
- Mains voltage variations must not exceed 10% of the rated voltage;
- The concentration of inflammable gases must be below 50% of the Lower Explosion Limit.
The machine must also never be exposed to:
- Ionising and non-ionising radiation;
- Temperatures of lower than -25°C or higher than +55°C.
5.2 PREPARATION OF THE INSTALLATION AREA
In order to facilitate the work of the operators and the ideal operation of the machine, the installation area must be
prepared as follows:
Electrical system
The installation area’s electrical system must be adequately structured and sized in compliance with the regulations in
force in the nation of use.
Provide the room with the corresponding protected power socket for the mains power supply in a position that can be
easily reached by the machine’s power supply cable.
Remote power cut-off device
We recommend providing the machine with a remote power cut-off device. This device, which must be adequately
sized, assumes fundamental importance for the immediate and remote interruption of the electrical power in case of
emergency.
5.3 ELECTRICAL MAINS ATTACHMENT
Connect the machine’s power supply cable to the electric power mains using an appropriately sealed junction box.
CAUTION: Even if the machine is equipped with overload cut-outs, always check to make sure that the
characteristics of the installation room’s power supply mains are appropriate.
6 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
6.1 APPLICATION
The device has been designed and built for measuring the dimensions of parts of cars or motorbikes (in the case of
TOUCH BIKE models), in repair and body shops, in the manner indicated herein and in the software user guide. Use of
the device in any manner or for any purpose other than those indicated by the manufacturer is not allowed.
CAUTION: the manufacturer declines all responsibility for injury to persons and animals or damage to
property deriving from use of the machine for purposes other than those specified.
