1. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Small children, elderly or infirm people: As with all naked flames, it is always
advisable to have a protective guard in place for these groups of people

Never leave these groups of people unattended near the
the fireplace when an ebios-fire is burning or has just been extinguished!
The ebios-fire must never be left unattended while in operation!
The relevant specific regional and local directives and regulations, espe-
cially those relating to fire safety in a German federal state, and where
applicable the fire safety stipulations of VKF governing the installation and
operation of your ebios-fire must be observed.
The installation location must ensure that there is no possibility of the
burner moving while in operation as a consequence of collision impacts or
similar events.
All models may only be operated with the closed housing cover.
Please note that the fuel must not be topped up when the equipment is hot
or in burning mode. Refilling must NOT take place via the burner channel but
instead ONLY via the filler aperture (see Fig. 1). We advise you to put out the
ebios-fire by running it until the fuel tank runs dry. When not in operation,
the cover plate must always be over the burner.
Only permit people to fill the equipment with fuel who are familiar with
the equipment and with the safety requirements, and who have received
instructions from you in the operation of the unit.
The ebios-fire is not a heater, but is instead a decorative fire.
Bio-ethanol is a hazardous substance and must always be stored in accord-
ance with the specifications, and only in specified amounts.
Storage in the basement:

2. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Please be sure to observe the following carefully. Please bear in mind that
bio-ethanol is a liquid fuel that, when combusted, can produce high local
temperatures and is itself readily ignitable. Any failure to comply with the
assembly and operating instructions can lead to hazardous situations, and
even to explosive combustion of the fuel. With proper installation and proper
handling, you can assure safe and reliable operation. The equipment must
not tilt and must be aligned horizontally. Secure the wall-mounted equip-
ment as well as the free-standing equipment to the wall and floor respec-
tively. This is for your own safety.
