Notices:
The figures refer to one device. When installing more devices, the
demand for air supply doubled accordingly.
For the supply air sections commercial air grilles can be installed.
2.6 FIRE PROTECTION/MINIMUM DISTANCES FOR
THE EBIOS FIREPLACE INSERT
2.7 COMBUSTION AIR SUPPLY
Your ebios-fire draws combustion air out of the installation space (depend-
ent an ambient air in room). Ensure that the installation space is supplied
with a plentiful amount of fresh air. With the windows and doors sealed (e.g.
in conjunction with energy conservation measures), it is possible for the
volume of fresh air entering the room to be insufficient. This can affect your
well-being and under some circumstances, can also affect your health or
also the combustion characteristics. Open a window to provide a sufficient
supply of fresh air.
3. OPERATING MANUAL
Read this assembly and operating manual carefully prior to installation and/
or commissioning of your ebios-fire. All objects from the ebios-fire-Quadra
Inside must be removed (except for the burner unit). Please observe the fire
protection regulations and dangerous goods specifications!
3.1 GENERAL INFORMATION ON WICK BURNER
• Small children, elderly or infirm people: As with all naked flames it is
advisable to fit a guard (available from specialty traders as an acces-
sory) for these groups of people.
Danger of burn injuries!
Never leave
these groups of persons unattended near the ebios-fire when a fire is
burning or has just been extinguished! Please make these groups of
people aware of this source of danger.
• Do not place or keep any combustible objects on free surfaces of the
ebios-fire-Quadra Inside. Never place items of laundry to dry on this
furniture item. Clothes drying racks must only be erected outside the
radiant area!
Danger of fire!
• The burning process releases thermal energy that can lead to heating
of the burner, the housing surfaces, the glass windows (depending on
version) and of the safety glass panels. Touching these without the use
