network cable (sold separately). The transmitter has two switchable HDMI inputs to connect two input
devices to an output device. This can be used, for instance, to flexibly and conveniently set up home theater
systems over long distances.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be
avoided under all circumstances.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information.
If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this
manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property.
Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) Persons / Product
• The design of the wall plug transformer complies with Protection Class II. Use only a standard mains
socket as the power source for the wall plug transformer.
• The mains outlet must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
• As power supply, only use the supplied mains adaptor.
• Only connect the power adaptor to a normal mains socket connected to the public supply. Before plugging
in the power adaptor, check whether the voltage stated on the power adaptor complies with the voltage
of your electricity supplier.
• Never connect or disconnect power adaptors if your hands are wet.
• Never unplug the power adaptor from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always use the grips on
the plug.
• When setting up the product, make sure that the cable is not pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
• Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This poses a risk of injury.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power adaptor from the mains socket during storms.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm one. The
condensation generated could destroy the product. The plug-in power supply unit also involves danger to
life by electric shock!
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material
for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture,
flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any
accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected to the product.
b) Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical
support service or other technical personnel.
Operation
• Heed all safety instructions for connected devices. Turn off all connected devices and make sure they
are voltage-free.
We recommend using a high-quality network cable CAT5E / CAT6 for connection. A cable of
lesser quality may impair transmission quality and distance. If you have any questions, consult
a specialist shop.
• Choose a suitable position both for the transmitter and the receiver, and connect both to a network cable
(sold separately).
• Connect the HDMI cable of your input device (i.e. DVD player) to the HDMI input 1 on the front of the
transmitter.
• The length of the HDMI cable from the transmitter input to the input device (i.e. DVD player) may not
exceed 15 m. Exceeding this length may cause signal disturbances or no signal will be transmitted at all.
• Connect the HDMI cable of your output device (i.e. TV) to the HDMI output on the front of the receiver.
• The length of the HDMI cable from the receiver output to the output device (i.e. TV) may not exceed 15 m.
Exceeding this length may cause signal disturbances or no signal will be transmitted at all.
• Finally, connect the connection jack of the provided power adaptors to the round sockets on both the
transmitter and receiver.
• Connect both power adaptors to a power outlet.
• The status LED on both the transmitter and receiver light up red.
• Connect the input and output devices to the power supply and begin playback.
• If signal transmission from the input to the output device is successful, the status LED for the HDMI signal
will light up.
If you wish to connect a second input device, connect the HDMI cable of the device in question
to the HDMI input 2. You can switch between both input signals using the appropriate switch.
Maintenance and cleaning
• Before cleaning, disconnect both the transmitter and receiver from all connected devices, and disconnect
the power adaptors from all power outlets.
• The product requires no servicing on your part aside from occasional cleaning. Use a soft, antistatic and
lint-free cloth.
• Do not use any chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, as they may damage the casing surface.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. At
the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
