Cross-Talk
There is a small rod behind the Al-window which reduces the cross-talk between the excitations
of the two anodes to below 0.35 %. The rod is oriented parallel to the groove at the anode top
which separates the two anode sides from each other.

A cross-talk spectrum is shown in Figure 22. The peak highlighted in the aluminium spectrum is
due to Mg cross-talk.
