SPEKTRUM DX3S USER GUIDE
bInd
Binding is the process of teaching the receiver the
specific transmitter’s code called GUID (Globally Unique
Identifier) and store failsafe values. When a receiver is
bound to a transmitter/ model memory, the receiver will
only respond to that specific transmitter/ model memory
(see ModelMatch below).
Note
: If a receiver is not bound to a specific
model memory it will not operate.
ModelMaTCh
The DX3S features patented ModelMatch technology
that prevents operating a model using the wrong model
memory. During the binding process, the receiver
stores code that is assigned to the specific model that
is currently selected in the transmitter. For example: if
the model that is selected in the transmitter is model #3,
when a receiver is bound to that transmitter, the receiver
will only operate when model #3 is selected. If another
model memory is selected (model #5 for example) the
receiver will not connect. If model three is again selected
in the transmitter, the receiver bound to model #3 will
connect. ModelMatch prevents operating a model using
the wrong model memory.
