Terms And Conditions
Care and Maintenance
Exposure to certain materials, leather straps and cushions such as those found
on some instrument stands could adversely affect the finish. To insure your finish
maintains its beauty, please follow these steps:
• Never cover or wipe your instrument with plastic based materials.
• Always remove the strap from the instrument when not in use.
• Perspiration can also damage the guitar finish as well as the hardware finish.
• Always clean your instrument and hardware with a soft cloth before storing it.
A rapid change in temperature or humidity can result in small cracks in the finish.
This is a result of the wood expanding faster than the lacquer. To eliminate the
possibility of this happening to your instrument we recommend you warm it to room
temperature when taken out of its gig bag.
Daily Care:
Every time your instrument is used the strings should be wiped clean.
This will increase string life and make your guitar sound its best.
Shipping and Travel:
Protect your guitar from damage. Loosen the strings down
all the way to remove the tension from the guitar. Remove the strap peg from the
end of the guitar if it isn’t glued in place. Once you have reached your destination
tune the guitar, wipe the strings and enjoy.
Extended Storage:
Remove some but not all of the tension from the strings, clean
& polish the guitar and then put a little lemon oil on the fret board. Store the guitar
where it won’t get too warm, cold or humid.
