Request Auxiliary Status
Description:
The host requests that the firmware report the Auxiliary Status.
Direction:
Host to supply
Syntax:
<STX><78><,><CSUM><ETX>
Example:
<STX>78,<CSUM><ETX>
Response:
<STX><78><,><ARG1><,><ARG2><,><CSUM><ETX>
Where: (ARG# is 0 or 1 in ASCII format)
<ARG1> RTC Battery Ok (1 = Ok, 0 = Not Ok)
<ARG2> Anode Heat Load Ok (1 = Ok, 0 = Head Load near
maximum allowed)
Description of Auxiliary Status
ARG1 = RTC Battery OK. 1 = RTC Battery Ok. 0 = RTC Battery is
Low and requires replacement. If this status flag is zero the
RTC may not track shutdown time properly. This may cause
incorrect calculation of anode cooling during shut down and
result in an incorrect anode heat load reading.
ARG2 = Anode Heat Load Ok. 1 = The Anode heat load is Ok to
make another exposure. 0 = The Anode heat load is 90% or
greater of the maxim allowed. The user should wait for the
Anode to cool before making another exposure.
Notes: The battery status checked at power up, and again once
every 24 hour period. In-between these times the battery status will
not change.
