5.6 FREQUENCY / DUTY CYCLE / FREQUENCY Hz   
1. Set the Rotary Switch to Hz%
2. Press the Hz/% button until Hz is shown on the display.
3. Place the red and black test leads at both the positive and negative points to be measured.
4. Read the value of the measurement displayed.

Note: The voltage of the input signal should be between 1V rms and 30V rms. The higher the frequency of the signal, the higher the required 

input voltage. For measurements < 10Hz, the amplitude of the input signal must be more than 2V rms. 

5.7 DUTY CYCLE %  
1. Set the Rotary Switch to Hz%
2. Press the Hz/% button until % is shown on the display.
3. Place the red and black test leads at both the positive and negative points to be measured.
4. Read the value of the measurement displayed.

Note: Hz/% can also be accessed by setting the Rotary Switch to DCV or ACV and pressing the Hz/% button until either Hz or % appears on 

the display. Follow the instructions above to measure Hz and %. 

6.0 BATTERY REPLACEMENT

To avoid false readings, which could lead to possible electric shock or personal injury, replace the battery as soon as the battery 

indicator

1. Disconnect the connection between the test leads and the circuit under test.
2. Turn the meter power off.
3. Remove the screw from the back of the meter. Lift off the back cover.
4. Lift the bottom tab holding down the battery. Replace the old battery with a new CR2032 3V battery

Note: Do not use rechargeable batteries in this unit.
6.  Carefully slide on the back cover and tighten the screw.  

Do not overtighten the screw as this may strip the threads in the meter housing.

7.0 GENERAL SERVICE

• Periodically wipe the case with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents.
• To clean the terminals use a cotton swab and detergent, as dirt and moisture in the terminals can affect readings.
• Turn the Meter power off when it is not in use.
• Take out the battery when it is not used for a long time.
• Do not use or store the Meter in a place of humidity, high temperature.
