In- and Output Calibration

To edit in- or output calibration points:
1.
If not already connected, connect to the RAC with SUSI and enter the
RAC application’s calibration page.
2. With the spin control, scroll down the list of existing calibration
points to the point you wish to edit.
3. In case of an input calibration point:
–
If the rudder can be positioned exactly to the angle where the
point has been set, position the rudder to this angle.
Click
to save the edited point.

If the rudder cannot be positioned exactly to the angle where the
point has been set, delete the existing point.
Position the rudder to an angle close to the previous one, then
read the exact rudder angle from the rudder stock scale and enter
it in the input calibration rudder angle control.
Click
to save the newly set point.
In case of an output calibration point:
For all of the outputs you wish to edit, adjust the output slider to
bring the respective RAI’s indication to the exact value where the
calibration point has been set.
Click
to save the edited point.
4. Repeat steps 2 to 3 above to edit further calibration points, if
required.
5. Click
to write back the calibration settings to the RAC and
quit the calibration page.
To delete in- or output calibration points:
1.
If not already connected, connect to the RAC with SUSI and enter the
RAC application’s calibration page.
2. With the spin control, scroll down the list of existing calibration
points to the point you wish to delete.
3. Click
to delete the point.
4. Repeat steps 2 to 3 above to delete further calibration points, if
required.
5. Click
to write back the calibration settings to the RAC and
quit the calibration page.
Note
Make sure not to delete the calibration points for the hardover and mid-
ships rudder angles, unless you intend to directly add new points in their
place. At least three points must remain set, otherwise it will not be pos-
sible to leave the calibration page by clicking “Finish”.
