This section describes how to configure the FSM protocol files and serial port settings.
There are three different ways to specify which FSM protocol file is used by the device:
<protocol-
disabled>, <protocol-system>
or
<protocol-file>
. If more than one of these commands are
present, only the last one will be applied.
<protocol-disabled>
HMP300 and HMP350 only
Disable the usage of FSM protocol file. The device will no longer send commands on the serial or USB
port.
Note: this parameter will override settings done using
<protocol-disabled>, <protocol-system>
or
<protocol-file>
.
For instance, to disable a protocol file previously set, use:
<protocol-disabled/>
<protocol-system>
HMP300 and HMP350 only
Modified in 3.0.0 firmware release.
Enable the usage of one of the internal protocol files available in the device. Currently the following
protocols are available inside the device:
LG LF65.fsm
panasonic_plasma_ps.fsm
sharp_aquos.fsm
nmea-gps.fsm
Note: this parameter will override settings done using
<protocol-disabled>,
<protocol-system>
or
<protocol-file>
.
For instance, to set up the device to use the internal file to control a Panasonic Plasma monitor, use:
<protocol-system>panasonic_plasma_ps.fsm</protocol-system>
<protocol-file-reset>
HMP300 and HMP350 only
Added in 3.1.0 firmware release.
