Denying/ blocking a call
When the
Snom 820
signals an incoming call, you have the option to
deny the call by pressing
, t
he caller will be directed to voicemail or
press
to transfer the caller to another extension.
Hold and resume
When a call is in progress, press the Hold key to put the ongoing call on
hold, i.e. neither party can hear the other.
Held calls are indicated threefold: by the text on the display, the line key
is slowly blinking green, and the call indication LEDs is glowing red. You
can now:
•
Transfer the held call blindly or with prior announcement – see
page 31.
•
Receive and make calls and put other calls on hold.
•
Pick up the held call by pressing its line key or by pressing Hold
again If the other party hangs up while on hold the call terminates
on your phone as well and the indicators are turned off.
Transfer
Direct Transfer
When you have a call on the line, transfer the call to a third party.
Press the Transfer key.
Dial the number of the third party you intend to transfer the call to.
Press

Transfer to Voicemail
Press the Transfer key.
Dial 8 followed by the number of the third party you intend to transfer the
call to.
Press
