Within the VXML Script Details page select the Build VXML File button.
Creating a multi-layer Auto Attendant
Instead of transferring the caller to an extension a Menu Item can be configured to present the caller
with another menu of options. The Form containing the required menu should be created first as
described above and then selected from the Go To list box of the required Menu Item as shown in the
following diagram.
Please note that an entry in the Transfer To field takes priority over the Go To field.
Using a default Menu Item
If a caller does not make a selection from the options presented a Menu Item can be used to
automatically transfer the caller to a specified extension or present another Form. This can be configured
as follows:

Within the required VXML Script Details page select the Form to be configured.

In the Wait for Digits Timeout field enter the number of seconds this Form should wait for the caller
to make a selection. By default this is set to 10 seconds.

Select Apply

Select the Add VXML Menu Item button

In the Number Match field delete any entry in this field and leave the field blank. This will be
displayed as Any in the VXML Form Details page.

If the caller is to be transferred to an extension number enter this in the Transfer To field or if the
caller is to be presented with a Form select this from the Go To list box.
