WHERE TO RIDE YOUR SCOOTER?
HOW TO RIDE YOUR SCOOTER?
• put on a helmet, patches, reflective elements, cycling gloves, and shoes with a non-slip rubber sole;
• check the brakes,
• when the scooter is turned on, press the throttle to check if the scooter accelerates. Warning! Apply little force to the throttle,
• check the tyres,
• make sure that the frame and forks are not damaged.
• Warning! Before riding check the immediate vicinity for any obstacles or persons. Never rock the scooter when riding.
• Always wear appropriate protective equipment, i.e. approved helmet (with a belt securely fastened), elbow and knee patches. The helmet may be
required under local law. In addition, it is recommended to wear a long-sleeve shirt, trousers, and gloves.
• Always wear sports shoes (shoes with laces and rubber soles). Never ride the scooter barefoot or in sandals. Keep your shoelaces tied and away
from the wheels, motor, and drive.
• Always check and adhere to local law that may be applicable in where you want to use your electric scooter. Always keep away from cars and vehicle
traffic. Use the scooter only where it is allowed and be careful.
• Ride carefully. Avoid pedestrians, rollerskaters, skateboarders, users of other scooters, cyclists, children, and animals that may appear on your way.
Respect the rights and property of others.
• The electric scooter should be used on even and dry surfaces such as pavements or horizontal terrain without loose materials such as sand, leaves,
small rocks, or stone chippings.
• Wet, slippery, uneven, or rough surfaces may cause the scooter to lose its traction and increase the risk of an accident.
• Do not ride the scooter on mud, ice, muddy puddles, or water.
• Watch out for any obstacles that could trap the wheel or make you swerve or lose control over the scooter.
• Avoid big bumps, drains, and sudden surface changes.
• Do not ride the scooter when it is wet or snowy. Never submerge the scooter in water because electrical and drive components may be damaged
or lead to other potential threats.
• Never risk damaging surfaces such as carpets or floors by using the electric scooter inside a building.
• Never use the scooter near stairs or a swimming pool.
• WARNING:
The scooter must be moving before the motor is turned on. Push off with your foot to reach 5 km/h.
• Do not use the throttle in the handlebars if the user is not a safe place outside a building where the conditions are suitable for riding the scooter.
• Always hold the handlebars when riding.
• Do not touch the scooter brakes or motor when riding or right after your ride because these parts may get very hot.
• Avoid high speeds, e.g. when riding downhill because you may lose control over the scooter.
• Do not ride at night or when visibility is reduced.
• Do not make or try to make tricks or stunts with your electric scooter. Its structure is not durable enough to withstand jumps, riding over kerbs, or
other tricks. Races, stunts, and other dangerous manoeuvres may also increase the risk of losing control over the scooter or may cause the user to act
or react uncontrollably. This may lead to a serious personal injury or even death.
• Only one user may ride the scooter.
• Do not let your hands, feet, hair, body parts, clothes, or other elements touch moving parts, wheels, or the drive.
• Do not use your headphones or mobile phone when riding.
• Never hook up your scooter to another vehicle when riding.
