How to connect the camera to your computer
•
Connect the USB lead to the camera and then connect the other end into
a free USB port on your computer.
•
The computer will recognize the USB has a new device connected (this
can take up to 30 seconds) and a window should pop up that will give you
an option to copy, cut or save the video files to your hard drive. If this
doesn’t happen, use Windows Explorer (or similar) and go to the relevant
‘Removable Disk’ in My Computer.
•
Copy the required file/s to the appropriate folder.

How to change the Date/Time
•
Insert the software CD into your CD drive
•
Connect the camera to your computer.
•
Open the folder ‘time adjusting’
•
Open the file ‘Tag’
•
Amend the date and time to the current date and time.
•
Disconnect the USB lead and then turn the camera ON again. Make a
brief video recording of the time display on your computer and check that
the playback time stamp corresponds to your computer clock.
•
If the video doesn’t show the time stamp, connect the camera to your PC
using the USB lead and Open the file on the camera called “setup.ini”
•
You will get a text document showing:
(VideoRecord)
CYCLERECORD = No
TIMESTAMP = No
•
Change the “No” to “Yes” for TIMESTAMP and close the document. Save
the file at the prompt. Future videos will now show the time stamp, so
again check it against your computer clock with another test Record.
