MANICURE
Fill up the nail spa with warm water and place your finger nails
in the nail spa and turn on to soften the nails. Keep the fingers
in the nail spa for 4-5 minutes in total. After drying off, you can
file you nails as below. Then soak your hands in the warm
water again for a minute and then dry them. You can then use
the cuticle pusher to push back the cuticles. Then apply hand
cream or moisturiser (not supplied) and use the thick and thin
sharp points to clean and tidy the edges of the nail, cuticle and
underneath the nail edge. With the pointed end of the manicure
stick remove any dirt from under the fingernails.
Run the fine grain cone around the edges of the nails to check
for snags or sharp edges and to smooth them away. Clean
nails, dry them and then polish (as detailed below).
FILING
Place a metal filing disc on the appliance. Switch the unit on and
file your nails using round movements. Make sure that the nails
are always filed in one direction. For finishing, file with the
polishing disc to get the filed nail nice and smooth.
With the round, tapered end of the manicure stick you can
push back the cuticles. Take care not to damage the skin next
to the nails. You can remove calloused and other hard skin
areas with the callous file (one for rough skin and the other
one is for less rough skin), moving it slowly and evenly over the
callous. If you have a problem with grooves and cracks in the
nail, you can make the surface of the nail smoother with the
polishing disc. Be careful not to file away too much nail surface.
POLISHING
Apply a little bit of polishing cream (not supplied) onto your nail.
Make sure that it does not touch your cuticle. Place the
polishing disc on the appliance and polish nail for a maximum
of 15 seconds.
PEDICURE
First soak your feet in a bath of warm water (or foot spa) for a
few minutes and dry carefully. Before filing the toenails, it is best
to separate the toes with a wad of cotton wool. Filing and
polishing is the same for toenails as fingernails.
NAIL DRYER
Place your fingers with the polished fingernails in he recess in
front of the “nail polish dryer” and press the silver button in the
front to start the drying operation. The fan will start running and
blows air on the fingernails. If the power of the air blower reduces
then it will be necessary to change the batteries.
