Assembly instructions
for Art.-Nr. 206 9539
2. Assembly of net
2.1 Scope of delivery
1x steel rope 3/4mm Ø PA coated 8 m long with one tension lock each
1x steel rope 3/4 mm Ø PA coated 6 m long with one tension lock each
1x handball goal net (Herkules Ø 5 mm)
4x screwable rope clips 3/16 galvanized
8x nuts M5 galvanized
100x black lacing cords 8 x 240
1x net steel rope with tension lock
5x large green net eyes
4. Pull the open end of the 8 m long steel rope through the green eyes of uprights/
crossbar. Start in the above mounted first big green eye of the net at the bottom of the
upright, continue to the top, along the outside of the net hoop, the crossbar, again
along the outside of the other net hoop and then down to the eye of the other upright.
Pull the rope until you can easily clip the tension lock in the eye at the starting side.
5. Mount orange net holders (optionally 80 pieces) so that they are always on the same
level between the net meshes (in turn with green net eyes). The tension ropes of the net
have to run in the round eye of the net hoops. For this reason bend open the net hol-
ders a little. After having adjusted the net holders in the channel they will be fixed by a
90° rotation. The net holders have to be mounted as follows:
2.2 Fixing of net at goal frame:
1. Lay out net over the goal frame and adjust it.
2. Clip the premounted net rope into the ring nut eyes of goal hoops.
3. Take at one side of the net (at welded eyes of uprights and bar)
the first 2 small green eyes and replace them with the attached
big green eyes. Thus in total 4 eyes have to be replaced as the
tension lock cannot be fixed in the small eyes.
6. Repeat steps 4. and 5. at the ground frame with the rope, length 6 m. Start also at the bar’s side with already mounted big
green eyes.
7. Check and adjust net again as now the final fixing at the net hoop will be done.
8. Pull steel ropes tightly and fix them with screwable clips and nuts. Tense ropes and cut rope ends.
9. Fix back tension rope between net hoops in each mesh of the net with the attached lacing cords (tighten lacing cords). Pull
the tension rope (not so tight, slightly sagging). Cut lacing cords accordingly. Also fix each mesh of the net at the goal hoops
using the lacing cords.
10. In order to avoid rubbing of the net at frame or tension elements during the matches the net has to be tightly mounted and
fixed by the lacing cords.
Safety instruction:
Finally check all screwed fastenings and to be on the safe side tighten all screws again.
