SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

• Die Seeinsel muss vor jeder Nutzung auf beschädigte, abgenutzte oder
kaputte Teile untersucht werden. Bitte tausche diese sofort aus, da sie
die Sicherheit des gesamten Gerätes beeinflussen könnten. Bis zur Wie-
derherstellung darf die Seeinsel nicht benutzt werden.
• Vermeide Kleidung mit Haken oder andere Gegenstände, die sich ver-
fangen könnten. Trage einen Neoprenanzug, dieser bietet Schutz vor
Unterkühlung bei windigem und kühlem Wetter.
• Achte bei der Wahl des Aufbauplatzes darauf, dass der Untergrund eben
und frei von spitzen Gegenständen wie Sträucher, Äste, spitze Steine
ist. Achte darauf, dass du genügend Platz um das Board hast.
• Trage die Seeinsel nach dem Aufbau am besten mit einer zweiten
Person, von deinem Aufbauplatz in das Wasser. Achte darauf, dass das
Kajak nicht auf dem Boden streift.
• Benutze die Seeinsel nur in ausgewiesenen Zonen und Gewässern, in
denen die Nutzung der Seeinsel erlaubt ist. Halte dich bitte an die örtli-
chen Schifffahrtsbestimmungen. Achte auf Fahrverbots-Schilder und
Gefahren-Hinweise – und beherzige diese!
• Nutze die Seeinsel am besten nur an bewachten Gewässern und
Stränden, an denen Rettungsschwimmer dir im Notfall helfen können.
• Nutze die Seeinsel nicht im offenen Meer zu weit hinaus, denn die Strö-
mung und der Wellengang sind dort zu stark.
• Verwende die Seeinsel nur, wenn du auch schwimmen kannst!
• Bei Gewitter ist der Aufenthalt auf der Seeinsel lebensgefährlich. Suche
bei Blitz und Donner sofort das nächstgelegene Ufer an! Achte auf even-
tuell vorhandene Leuchtsignale.
• Nutze die Seeinsel nicht dort, wo Boote und Schiffe fahren, dies ist zu
gefährlich.
• Meide pflanzenbewachsene und sumpfige Gewässer. Die Seeinsel
könnte sich dort verfangen.
• Springe nicht kopfüber von deiner Seeinsel in unbekannte Gewässer –
der Grund des Gewässers könnte nicht tief genug sein oder du könntest
dich an Felsen oder Steinen verletzen.
• Verlasse das Gewässer, wenn du stark frierst. Unterkühlungsgefahr!
• Schätze deine Leistungsfähigkeit realistisch ein und mute dir nicht zu
viel zu. Gegen eine Strömung an zu paddeln, ist beispielsweise extrem
kräfteraubend und oft sogar unmöglich.
• Trinke vor dem Fahren mit deinem Kajak keinen Alkohol, oder nimm
keine Drogen oder Medikamente zu dir.
• Fahre nie alleine oder unbeaufsichtigt auf dem Gewässer.
• Lass deine Kinder beim Gebrauch der Seeinsel niemals aus den Augen.
• Steige vorsichtig auf die Seeinsel. Springe nicht darauf. Dies gilt glei-
chermaßen beim Aussteigen.
• Vermeide unerlaubte und unbeaufsichtigte Benutzung der Seeinsel.
• Der Besitzer oder die Aufsichtsperson sind dafür verantwortlich, dass
alle Benutzer ausreichend über die Warnhinweise und Sicherheitsvor-
schriften informiert sind.
• Vorsicht vor losen Teilen oder Schlaufen, die sich in Armen oder Beinen
verfangen könnten.
• Befestige keine Fremdteile am Board.
• Achte bei Ladung mehrerer Personen auf eine gleichmäßige Verteilung
der Last oder Personen auf der Seeinsel, da diese ansonsten kippen
könnte.
• Die Seeinsel ist nicht für das Fahren ausgelegt, sondern ist eine Platt-
form für Aktivitäten auf dem Wasser. Dementsprechend kann Sie nicht
wie ein Wasserfahrzeug manövriert werden.
• Nimm keine technischen Veränderungen vor (wie z. B. Anbringen von
einem Motor usw.). Die Konstruktion der Seeinsel ist dafür nicht ausge-
legt.
• VORSICHT BEI ABLANDIGEM WIND UND STRÖMUNGEN!
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• When selecting the ideal place for assembly, ensure there is
enough space, and that the ground is level and free of any
sharp objects such as bushes, branches, and stones.
• Make sure that people or objects are not positioned near the
floating island during assembly.
• Once the island has been assembled, it is advisable to carry
it to the water with another person. Make sure it does not
touch the ground during transport.
• This product is suitable for outdoor use only.
• Do not exceed the specified user weight or the maximum
number of persons allowed.
• If more than one person is on the island, make sure the load
or people are evenly distributed, otherwise it may capsize.
• This product is not suitable for children under 14 years,
except when accompanied by an adult.
• Each user and any accompanying persons must have suffi-
cient swimming skills.
• Attention must be paid to the maximum pressure allowed
(see table on the last page). Failure to do so may cause the
outer skin to burst, resulting in serious injuries such as car-
diac arrest or ruptured eardrums.
• Do not leave children or animals unsupervised near the floa-
ting island.
• This device is not suitable for persons with limited sensory,
physical and/or mental disabilities.
• The product must be inspected for damaged, worn or broken
parts before each use. Replace them immediately as they
could affect the safety of the entire device. Do not use the
island until they are replaced.
• Never use the floating island under the influence of alcohol
and/or medication.
• Do not use if you are pregnant.
• Do not smoke during assembly or when using the floating
island.
• Do not place cigarettes, sharp objects or other foreign objects
on the island.
• Do not use if you suffer from high blood pressure.
• If you experience any symptoms such as dizziness, nausea,
chest or limb pain, a rapid heartbeat, or if you feel faint, stop
using the floating island immediately and consult a doctor.
• Avoid clothing with hooks or loops that you could get caught
on to prevent any risk of strangulation.
• Wear a wetsuit – this will protect you from hypothermia in
windy and cool weather.
• Stay in designated zones and waters where the use of such a
device is permitted.
• Please adhere to the local waterway regulations. Pay close
attention to prohibitive signs and hazard warnings.
• It is advisable to use the floating island on guarded waters
and beaches where lifeguards can help in an emergency.
• Using the floating island during thunderstorms is life-threa-
tening. In the event of thunder and lightning, head immedia-
tely to the nearest shore. Always pay attention to any warning
signals that may be present.
• Do not use in the vicinity of boats and ships.
• Do not use the island too far in the open sea where the cur-
rent and waves can be very strong.
• Avoid marshy waters and areas where plants are growing, as
the floating island may get caught up there.
• Be aware of offshore winds and currents.
• Do not dive headfirst into unfamiliar waters from the floating
island – the water may not be deep enough and you may get
injured on rocks or stones.
• Leave the water if you feel very cold to avoid any risk of hypo-
thermia.
• Be realistic about your abilities/capabilities and don’t push
yourself too hard. Swimming against a current, for example, is
extremely strenuous and often impossible.
• Never use the product when alone.
• Do not attach any objects to the island.
• Never let your children out of sight when they’re using the
product.
• Carefully step (do not jump) onto the floating island. This also
applies when getting off.
