2.3 User program
Here, you can individually set, save and start six different intensity patterns; e.g., for interval trainings.
Selecting the user program
• Make sure the main menu is shown. If necessary, press the 'Home' button.
• Turn the Control knob until the 'User Program' mode is highlighted. Then press the Control knob to select it.
• A menu window with the overview of the six User programs is shown:
• Turn the Control knob until the desired
User program is highlighted. Then
press the Control knob to select it.
Setting the duration/ Starting the training
• A menu window with the current intensity pattern of the selected User program is shown. In the following
example, the intensity pattern is still nearly at default: In most segments, the intensity levels are set to a value
of 10. Just in segment 3, 5 and 7, the user has set the intensity level to 16, 20 or 24, respectively.
• Turn the Control knob to determine
the duration of your training. The
current time value is shown numerical
below the intensity pattern and as bar
graph above. When the desired time
is displayed, press the control knob
to set it for this user program. This
automatically determines the duration
of each segment, as all 16 segments
are equally long.
(Example: Set time = 30 minutes = 1800 seconds => Segment duration = 1800 sec / 16 = 113 sec).
• When all levels in the intensity pattern are okay, start your training with the START button. Otherwise, set the
intensity levels before you start the training, as described in the following.
Setting the levels in the intensity pattern
• The currently selected segment of the intensity pattern is shown in darker orange (as the first on the left in the
figure above).
• Press the Control knob to select a different segment.
• Adjust the intensity level in the selected segment with the UP and DOWN buttons. In the bar diagram, your
setting is immediately shown by the height of the segment's bar.
• If necessary, repeat these two steps for other segments.
• Press the 'Back' button to automatically save the intensity pattern in this User program.
