FILLING /DRAINING THE WATER TANK
SET RESISTANCE
The resistance of the rowing machine can be adjusted via the quantity filled into the water tank. To
do this, follow the instructions below:
MAX: the maximum filling level offers the highest resistance.
ATTENTION: The amount of water should not exceed the indicated level indicator. (No liability will be
accepted for water damage, malfunctions of the device, etc., in case of incorrect filling). There is a
line on the water tank indicating the optimum filling quantity.
Draining is done the other way round via the filling opening of the water tank.
For this purpose, the suction nozzle is held in the water tank. The filling nozzle is aligned to a col-
lecting container or suitable drain. Press the start button (electric) or the bellows of the hand pump
(manual) to empty the water tank. Make sure that the water is led into a sufficiently large collecting
container or into a drain intended for this purpose!
1. Open the cap located on the water tank.
2. Hold the suction pipe (pipe under the pump) in a previously filled water container or water
source. Hold the filling nozzle (pipe on the side of the pump) in the opening of the water tank of
your rowing machine.
3. Depending on the pump type (electric/manual), press the start button (electric) or press the
bellows of a hand pump (flexible head piece) several times with your hand (manually) to supply
the water to the water tank. When filling is complete, replace the cap in the opening of the water
tank.

You should begin your “Exercise Period” at the resistance level and speed to suit your
needs. Remember to start out slow and easy, and work your way up to the fitness level
you desire.
