Check that the brushes are leveled (check brushes
and grinding wheels for irregular wear).
Only Sprintus recommended accessories should be
used. Other products may affect safety.
8.6
CLEANING THE MACHINEN
To clean the outside of the machine, use a sponge
or cloth. If necessary, a soft brush can be used to
remove stubborn dirt
.
The use of steam cleaners, water hoses or
high-pressure cleaners is prohibited.
8.7 BATTERIES
Maintenance-free gel batteries are used on your
Torana. Interventions on the batteries must not
be made. Only use genuine Sprintus batteries /
battery chargers. Gel batteries only reach their
full capacity after a few cycles. Gel batteries have
NO memory effect. The devices can and should
be recharged after short periods of use. Deep dis-
charging damages the battery. Using the machine
until the battery is empty should be avoided. If
it’s done anyway, charge the battery immediately
afterwards. If the machines are not in use, the
batteries should be recharged every 2 months in
order to avoid deep discharging. In cold ambient
temperatures, this time period should be shorter.
8.8
REGULAR MAINTENANCE
For all procedures described here, refer to the
detailed instructions and warnings in the relevant
sections of this manual.
8.9
RECOMMENDED SPARE PARTS
It is recommended to always have enough con-
sumables available and to perform maintenance
work on a regular basis.
