BASIC SYSTEM OPERATION 

 

TURNING SYSTEM ON 

Make sure the scale is free and clear of any obstructions, then press the “

TARE/ON/OFF

” button 

to turn the scale on.  When scale is ready, “

0.00

” will be displayed.  

 

 

REWEIGH (NEXT USE)

 

To reweigh the same or different patient, be sure the tray is free and clear of any objects.  Press the 

TARE/ON/OFF

” button to zero the scale. When “

0.00

” is displayed, the scale is ready for use.   

Kg/Lb FUNCTION

 

Press the “

Kg/Lb

” button to toggle between lb, oz, lb:oz, or kg displayed weight.   

The scale will remain in the last mode used unless manually changed.  Example:  If the last weight 
recorded was in kilograms and the scale is shut down, the weight mode will be in kilograms when 
the scale is turned back on.   

TARE 

The tare function is used to subtract any additional items (example:  receptacle) from the patient’s 
Net weight.   

MEMORY

 

Press  the  “

MEMORY

”  button  to  store  the  “last  weight”  for  recall  if  needed.    To  view  the  last 

stored weight in memory, press the “

MEMORY

” button again to return to the original value.   

NOTE

:  “

MEMORY

” button will not store weight if weight is under two pounds (one kilogram).  

MEMORY

”  will  hold  last  stored  weight  until  the  memory  is  replaced  with  another  stored 

memory.  (The memory will not zero.)   

HOLD ARROW INDICATOR

  arrow at the left bottom of the LCD display will first flash when weighing.   

TURN SYSTEM OFF

 

The  SRV930  scale  can  be  programmed  to  auto-shut  down  at  120,  180,  240,  or  300  seconds.  
Pressing the “

TARE/ON/OFF

” button until the scale turns off will conserve on the battery life.   

To  change  the  auto  shut  down  time  press  the  “

TARE/ON/OFF

” button to turn the scale “

ON

”. 

Press  and  hold  the  “

Kg/Lb

”  button  until  the  display  reads  “

UNIT

”.  Press  the  “

Kg/Lb

”  button 

until the display indicates “

A.OFF

”.
