FOLDING/UNFOLDING THIRD ROW SEAT
1. Lift up the third row seatback to an upright position.
• The second row seatback should be in an upright position be-
fore moving the third row seatback. Otherwise, the back board
of the seatback can be damaged.
• Lift up the third row seatback until it is engaged and fixed. Driv-
ing with the seatback unfixed can cause injury in an accident.
Make sure it is securely fixed.
• The third row seatback cannot be engaged and fixed if the sec-
ond row seatback is excessively tilted backward.
• Do not adjust the second row seatback if the third row seatback
is in an upright position. Doing so can damage the seatback.
CAUTION
2. Flip the third row seat cushion so that it is securely
positioned.
3. To fold the third row seatback, perform the procedures in
the reverse order of unfolding procedures. Make sure to
unlock the seatback by pulling the lock release lever be-
fore folding the seatback.
Ensure that the head restraint is completely lowered before fold-
ing the third row seatback.
