Switching on the
light
When you press the light
button, the lighting is
switched on, provided this
has been connected by your
electrical installer.
Muting the bell
When the mute button
is pressed briefly, all the
ringing tones are switched
off or on again. The button
lights up red to indicate that
the mute has been acti-
vated. If a visitor rings the
doorbell, the button flashes
for as long as the hands-
free telephone is muted.
Selecting a
door station
Press the
speech button twice to
make a speech connection
to the door station from
which the last call came.
Ringtone volume
The ringtone volume can be
set to 5 d
ifferent levels:
Hold down the muting
button for 3 seconds
to
hear the set ringtone
volume.
The volume
can be set by
pr or –
at the speech button.
Save the selected
volume by pressing the
mute button for 3 seconds.
Ringtone
You can choose between 11
ringtones. The ringtone is
always set for the last door
to ring the doorbell; conse-
quently you will need to first
press the bell at the front
door or the apartment door.
(A different ringtone can
also be selected for internal
or group calls).
Press and hold
down the door release and
light button simultaneously
for 3 seco
nds to hear the
set ringtone melody.

Save the selected ring-
tone melody by pressing the
mute button for 3 seconds.
Button assignment
The buttons of the hands-
free telephone can be used
for instance for estab-
lishing internal calls or for
switching and control func-
tions. All buttons permit
double assignment (with
the exception of the door
release button).
Each button has a bottom-
mounted lamp to indicate
switching statuses. For more
details, please enquire with
your electrical installer.
Intercom functions
For internal communication
in the house, the handsfree
telephone offers additional
functions. To allow these
functions to be used, they
must be programmed by
the electrical installer.
• Call forwarding
Forwards door calls to
another telephone.
• Internal group call
Internal call to several
indoor devices simultane-
ously. The device which
initially establishes the con-
nection has the call.
• Collective announce-
ment
Paging announcement to
one or more deluxe hands-
