ENTERING YOUR SECURITY CODE

If an incorrect security code is entered 3 �mes 

the light 

will flash red 5X and beep 5X (if the 

sound is turned on)

 then alarm will sound for 

10 seconds resul�ng in the safe being 

automa�cally locked out for 1 Minute before 

you can try your code again. 

The safe will beep 1X (if the sound is turned on) 

and the green light will flash 1X when the 

lockout period is over.

If an incorrect security code is entered

1 addi�onal �me the light 

will flash red 5X

 and 

beep 5X (if the sound is turned on)

 then alarm 

will sound for 30 seconds resul�ng in the safe 

being automa�cally locked out for 5 minutes 

before the code can be tried again. 

The safe will beep 1X (if the sound is turned on) 

and the green light will flash 1X when the 

lockout period is over.

To close the safe, push the door closed 

un�l locked.

Write your new combina�on on this instruc�on 

sheet or store your combina�on on our secure 

website at stackon.com under Customer Service. 

If you write down your combina�on you must 

keep this informa�on in a secure place, away 

from children, not inside the safe.

To enter your own security code you will need to 

follow the steps listed below:

1. A�er installing the ba�eries, locate the reset 

bu�on on the back of the door.

2. Press the reset bu�on with a pen and then 

release it, you will hear a beep.  

DO NOT SHUT 

THE DOOR UNTIL YOU HAVE CONFIRMED THAT 

YOUR NEW SECURITY CODE HAS BEEN 

ENTERED CORRECTLY.

3. With the door open, enter your own personal 

security code,  which can be 3-8 digits long, and 

confirm your new code by pressing the     ....    key 

on the electronic touch pad.  You will have 

3 seconds to press the     ....     key otherwise you 

will have to start over from step one. There will be 

2 beeps (if the sound is turned on) and the green 

light will flash 2X if your code has been entered 

successfully.  Before you close the door, enter the 

new security code and press the    ....     key to 

make sure the lock releases the knob so you can 

turn it and retract the live ac�on locking bolts.

INTERNAL LED LIGHT

This safe includes an internal LED light that will 

ac�vate when the correct combina�on is 

entered and will remain on for 30 seconds.

If the code fails, go through steps 1-3 again.  

If the code works successfully, then you should 

lock the safe.

When you open the safe in the future enter the 

security code you have set followed by the    ....    

key and turn the knob.

NOTE:  

The reset bu�on located on the 

inside of the door, is covered with a 

removable cap.  When you use the reset 

bu�on while se�ng your own combina�on, 

remove the cap to access the bu�on.  Use a 

pen �p to push the reset bu�on. 
Replace the cap securely over the reset 

bu�on a�er se�ng your combina�on.  

Failure to do so will compromise the safety 

and security of the safe.

TURNING THE KEYPAD SOUND 

OFF/ON

You can turn off the "Beep" sound of the 

keypad by pressing the       ...     key.

 

To turn the "Beep" sound on, press the      

....        key again.

Your safe comes with the "Beep" sound
