5. OPERATION
5.1. Start-up
Before first use, activate the empty device for about 10 minutes in order to burn out the oil and thermal insulation residue,
which may cause an unpleasant smell. After completing this step, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the device and its
components using a damp cloth with a non-abrasive cleaning agent.
5.2. Operation of a toaster with ceramic heating elements and a switch
In order to start the device turn the timer to the appropriate time. The maximum available time is 15 minutes. Switch the
upper switch in order to activate the upper heating elements and the bottom switch in order to activate the bottom heating
elements. The central heating elements are only controlled using the timer. After the expiry of the selected time the heating
elements will turn off automatically.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
During the cleaning and maintenance of the device, make sure that it is disconnected from the source of power supply in order
to prevent accidents.
Frequent emptying of the crumbs tray is recommended.
The surfaces of the toaster should be cleaned using a soft cloth, without any caustic cleaning agents.
The On/Off switches may only be cleaned with a dry cloth. It is prohibited to wash the device, including the housing, using a
stream of water, as this could cause the water to get inside the device and damage it.
