11. REGELMÄSSIGE PRÜFUNG DES GERÄTES
Prüfen Sie regelmäßig, ob Elemente des Gerätes
Beschädigungen aufweisen. Sollte dies der Fall sein, darf
das Gerät nicht mehr benutzt werden. Wenden Sie sich
umgehend an Ihren Verkäufer, um Nachbesserungen
vorzunehmen.
Was tun im Problemfall? Kontaktieren Sie Ihren Verkäufer
und bereiten Sie folgende Angaben vor:

Rechnungs- und Seriennummer (letztere finden Sie
auf dem Typenschild).
•
Ggf. ein Foto des defekten Teils
•
Ihr Servicemitarbeiter kann besser einschätzen worin
das Problem besteht, wenn Sie es so präzise wie
möglich beschreiben. Je detaillierter Ihre Angaben
sind, umso schneller kann Ihnen geholfen werden!

ATTENTION!
Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury or even death.
1. USAGE SAFETY
1.1. GENERAL NOTES
a)
Take care of your own safety and the one of third
parties by reading and strictly following the
instructions, included in the operating manual of the
device.
b)
Only qualified and skilled personnel can be allowed
to start, operate, maintain the machine.
c)
Repairs should be made at the manufacturer's
service only with original parts.
d)
While the device is in use, keep third parties,
particularly minors, away from the place of use.
e)
The plasma cutter is a device designed for cutting
metal. The machine must never be operated contrary
to its intended purpose.
f)
During operation, the device generates an
electromagnetic field around itself, which may
cause erroneous operation of medical implants i.e.
pacemakers, etc.
g)
It is forbidden to direct the gun towards yourself,
other people or animals.
h)
Ensure regular service and maintenance.
i)
Prior to each adjustment, maintenance, nozzle
replacement, etc., disconnect the device from the
power supply.
j)
Do not use the product with the cover removed.
k)
All waste generated after cutting should be disposed
of in accordance with local regulations
REMEMBER!
Cutting near tanks or drums with
flammable substances is prohibited.
1.2. PREPARATION OF WORKSTATION FOR CUTTING
ATTENTION! CUTTING MAY CAUSE FIRE OR AN EXPLOSION
A plasma beam ejects incandescent metal particles or
sparkles. Hot metal particles, sparks, heated elements or
hot equipment may cause fire. Therefore, it is necessary
to closely examine the work place surrounding sand to
make sure if it is suitable as a working area before using
the device.
a)
Remove all flammable materials within 12 m radius
from the burner.
b)
If that is not possible, the flammable materials are to
be covered with an appropriate covering.
c)
It is forbidden to cut in places where flammable
materials may be ignited.
d)
Use means of protection against stream of sparks
and incandescent metal particles.
e)
Keep in mind that sparks or hot metal splinters may
penetrate through gaps or openings.
f)
Pay close attention to the electric arc and make sure
a fire extinguisher is at hand.
g)
Keep in mind that cutting close to a ceiling, on the
floor or between partitioned space may cause a fire
on the other, not visible side.
h)
Always ensure adequate ventilation.
i)
Use the device at an ambient temperature between
10 and 40 ° C, in a room with low humidity and dust,
without direct sunlight.
j)
If cutting occurs in a place where there is a sudden
movement of air, use a wind protection.
k)
Take a stable position before you start cutting.
l)
Do not use the plasma cutter to defrost frozen pipes.
m) Do not cut with plasma near flammable materials/
containers. Flammable materials or containers are to
be removed or thoroughly emptied.
n)
Do not cut with plasma in an atmosphere containing
flammable particles or vapours of explosive
materials.
o)
Do not plasma-cut pressurized tanks, pressure
system pipes or pressurized containers.
p)
The plasma cutting station is to be located away
from flammable surfaces.
q)
Before starting plasma-cutting, get rid of flammable
or explosive objects, such as propane-butane
lighters or matches.
r)
Observe safety and OHS regulations applicable
to welding work and ensure the work station is
equipped with an appropriate fire extinguisher.
The flame and the working circuit are energized if
the electric power supply is activated. The input and
internal circuit of the device are also energized if the
electric power supply is activated.
The operation manual must be read carefully.
The product must be recycled.
Satisfies requirements of applicable safety
standards.
Use full body protective clothes.
Attention! Wear protective gloves.
Safety goggles must be worn.
Protective footwear must be worn.
Attention! Hot surface may cause burns
