6.4. BEAM TRACKING DISPLAY
The Beam Tracking Display shows the variation of the position of the centroid on the sensor. The yellow
dot represents the last calculated centroid position while the blue dots represent the previous ones. A dot
is added to the chart at each computation. The buffer can memorize as many as 2000 calculations. The
buffer is circular, which means that once it is full, it replaces the oldest value in memory by a new one.
The mean position of all the centroid positions is represented by a red cross.

Useful ISO 11670: compliant
values appear above the chart. They give an indication on how much the
beam drifts from its mean position.
Mean
: Coordinates of the mean position of the centroid.
Last
: Coordinates of the last calculated position of the centroid.
Azimuth
: Orientation for which the drift is maximal.
