Setting the Count Down Timer
When Count Down Timer is shown in one of the data windows, you can set the required
starting value, and/or start/stop the timer, following the procedure below.
1. Press and hold
the
key until a field is highlighted (it will be shown in a yellow frame).
2. Tap on
CDT
(see A)
. A menu popup window will be shown
(see B)
.
If Count Down Timer is not active
a. Tap on
START
to start counting down from the counter value. The data customization
box will be closed.
b. Tap on
RESTART
to reset the current counter value to the starting value and start
counting down. The data customization box will be closed.
c. Tap on
SET
to set a starting value of the counter. The touchscreen keyboard
appears. Insert the desired value; when finished tap on
, the keyboard
disappears.
If Count Down Timer is active
a. Tap on
STOP
to stop counting down, the current counter value is remembered. The
data customization box will be closed.
b. Tap on
RESTART
to reset the current counter value to the starting value and start
counting down. The data customization box will be closed.
3. Press
the
key one time so yellow highlight is removed from the data window.
The default setting is 00:10:00 (10 min). The minimum value you can set is 00:00:01 and the maximum
value is 99:00:00.
2.11.3 TRIP TIMER SELECTION IN DATA WINDOW
On the Chart, Navigation, Highway and NMEA Data pages the windows may be customized
to show a Trip Timer (HHH:MM:SS) in order to measure elapsed time between two
moments in time (e.g. the beginning and the end of the trip).
